Lynne M. Healy, MSW, Ph.D., is Board of Trustees Distinguished Professor at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work (West Hartford, CT, USA), Chair of the Administration Concentration, and founding Director of the Center for International Social Work Studies. She has published on internationalizing social work curriculum, international social work, human rights, human service agency management, and ethics. Among her publications are: International Social Work: Professional Action in an Interdependent World (Oxford, 2008);  Handbook of International Social Work:  Human Rights, Development and the Global Profession (with R. Link, Oxford, 2012); Teaching Human Rights:  Curriculum Resources for Social Work Educators (with M.C. Hokenstad & U. Segal, CSWE, 2013); and a special issue of the Journal of Social Work Education on globalization (with S. Gatenio-Gabel, 2012). Dr. Healy chairs the IASSW Human Rights Committee, and represents the IASSW on the United Nations NGO Committee for Social Development, and the Subcommittee on Poverty Eradication; previously, she served IASSW as Secretary and Vice-President. Dr. Healy also serves on the editorial boards or advisory committees of 7 professional journals.
