Member Registration Fees

To receive the relevant member rate you must be a member of the three owner organisations (The International Federation of Social Workers, the International Council of Social Service, or the International Association of Schools of Social Work. The membership fee is also available to members of husITa and Friends of IFSW.

For IFSW membership: If you are a member of a national association of social workers that is an IFSW member, you are eligible to apply as an IFSW member. Visit the IFSW ‘our members’ page to see if your association is one of the IFSW’s 90 member organisations. Some people are individual members of IFSW as ‘friends of IFSW’.

For IASSW membership: You can apply as a member of the IASSW if your University’s social work program is a member of the IASSW.  Please check the IASSW website for member programs.

For ICSW membership, your organisation of affiliation needs to be a registered member. Please check the ICSW website for member organisations.

Developing Country Registration Fees

Delegates from countries appearing on the DAC List of ODA Recipients are eligible to register at the Developing Country rates listed above. 

Student Registration Fees

Student rates apply to full time students, enrolled for degrees or diplomas at a university or tertiary institution in 2014. A photocopy of documentation i.e. student card, enrolment advice, etc. must accompany registration and should be emailed to .

Method of Payment  

Full payment of fees is required before registrations can be processed and confirmed. Payment can be made in the following manner:  

i. Credit Card Payment

 Visa and MasterCard are accepted.

ii. Cheque Payment

Please make cheque/bank draft in Australian Dollars payable to
WALDRONSMITH ManagementSWESD2014“ and mail with the tax invoice form to the Conference Office.

International delegates please note: Cheque payment must be received by way of an international bank draft in Australian Dollars which states an Australian drawee bank. We cannot accept personal or company cheques.

Additional Information  

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Registration Fees:
Cancellations received in writing at the Conference Office prior to 8 June 2014 (30 days) prior to the Conference commencement date will receive a refund less a handling fee of $110 including GST. No refund will be given after this date; however, an alternative delegate name may be submitted. All cancellations and substitutions must be made in writing to the Conference Office.

Accommodation:
For cancellations of reservations please refer to the individual hotel. Any amendments to original hotel bookings must be forwarded in writing to the Conference Office.  

Insurance  

Registration fees do not include personal travel insurance of any kind. It is strongly recommended that, when registering for the Conference and booking travel, a travel insurance policy be taken out to cover loss, cancellation, medical cover etc for any reason. The Conference Committee and Conference Office do not take responsibility for any delegate failing to insure.  

Tax  

All Conference registration and additional ticket fees quoted are in Australian Dollars and are inclusive of GST.
