Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
AASW members are able to claim CPD hours for any conference or course they attend that is relevant to their career as a Social Worker. Hours can be claimed under three different categories:
- Reflection, Ethical Practice and Career Development
- Skills & Knowledge and
- Professional Identity.
The CPD Policy provides information regarding the hours required for AASW accredited members and Mental Health SW’s. Participants at the Joint World Conference on Social Work, Education and Social Development 2014 are eligible to claim hours for their attendance towards AASW accreditation.
